**About the Team**:

- The Search team is responsible for developing Shopee's product search and store search engine for all global markets. Our team members are primarily from leading universities and companies, and our main mission is to support the company's business and continue to empower its rapid growth. The team's specific tasks include creating industry-leading ranking models, and providing a personalized search user experience. We want people who are passionate about technology and self-driven to join us and work with us to continue to innovate and serve our global users. The specific position is a search algorithm engineer with the following main responsibilities and requirements.- Responsible for the construction of the whole search chain of ranking algorithms, including coarse ranking, ranking, re-ranking algorithms
- Build and optimize the LTR framework, using machine learning and deep learning techniques to optimize the CTR/CVR and overall ranking models to improve the quality of search
- Build real-time personalized search models using real-time personalized features to provide a high-quality personalized search experience

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree or above in computer science, computational linguistics or other related majors
- Excellent coding skills, with practical experience in developing online code, proficient in at least one of c++/golang/python/java
- Hands-on experience in distributed data platforms and processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Map-Reduce
