**Shift Work**:Monday to Friday - Shift 1: 8.30am to 6pm, Shift 2: 10.30am to 8pm
**Requirements**:
- At least a degree holder and a minimum of 2 years student services experience in private education.
- Experience in managing timetables, organising study materials and handling more than 1 programme level i.e. Diploma, Higher Diploma, Degree level
- Able to work independently with little guidance
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and think on your feet.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities
- Well spoken and written English (You must communicate with international students & parents)
- Good organization skills and Willing to take initiative
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and technology A flexible approach to working hours is necessary as some activities may require an extension of working hours
**Job Responsibilities:
Student Services Function:
- Provide service at the student reception counter and direct enquiries to the relevant departments
- Answer phone calls and attend to walk-in customers / parents / guardians
- Oversee and ensure smooth operations of the department
- Management of parent-teacher meetings
- Attend meetings and review executives KPIs and performance
- Work with HOD to review department's Operating Procedures
- Complete any service recovery and other customer related issues
- Attend to students reporting to the school for classes
- Arrange counseling and prepare warning letters where necessary
- Liaise with Teachers on student progress reports
- Work with the relevant departments to ensure student movement, withdrawal or transfers are completed smooth
- Arrange placement tests and liaise with teachers on the marking and marketing agents for follow up actions
- Organise and execute Graduation ceremony
- Liaise with finance to ensure payment of study materials are made
- Liaise with other departments to ensure student issues are handled on time
Student Admission Functions:
- Advise students regarding payment of fees options.
- Manage and handle all interaction with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) regarding all student matters
- Purchase insurance fee protection scheme for all students
- Brief international students upon their arrival
- Monitor and review student passes and FPS
- Assist in all internal assessments and audits.
- Ensure the workflow in the Admission Dept is being completed in a timely manner and that there is a smooth workflow into Student Services Dept.
- Monitor the processes followed by the SS teams to ensure that TMC policies and procedures for Student Services are observed.
- Monitor the student file tracking system to ensure that student files are not lost or misplaced.
- Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor
