About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Care Teacher to join our dynamic team at Talent Scout Student Care Centre Pte. Ltd. in the Woodlands North Region. This part-time role will involve providing a nurturing and enriching environment for primary school students, supporting their academic, social, and personal development.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and caring for a group of primary school students during before and after-school hours
  • Assisting students with their homework and providing academic support
  • Organising and leading engaging educational activities, such as group games, arts and crafts, and recreational programs
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students' social and emotional growth
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's progress
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in your care

What we're looking for

  • A relevant teaching or education-related qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Experience working with primary school-aged children in a classroom or student care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build positive relationships
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Creativity and a passion for engaging students in enriching activities
  • A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents
