Bloomberg"s Media Distribution division, is focused on the aggressive growth of our audience and subscriber base via strategic multi-platform licensing partnerships with corporations, media organizations and educational institutions. We are urgently seeking a dynamic and experienced regional Sales Manager to join our team, based in Singapore.
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading content licensing and enterprise subscription conversations across the region. In this role, you will grow the Bloomberg Media Distribution business by nurturing existing relationships and developing new business across key markets around the region.
**We"ll trust you to**:
- Grow revenue and exceed personal sales targets in relation to our content licensing and enterprise subscriptions businesses.
- Independently manage your sales funnel from prospecting to pitching, negotiations and closing.
- Think creatively to identify new business opportunities across new industry verticals and platforms outside of traditional media
- Be a strong team player with a high level of enthusiasm and drive to grow revenue in collaboration with your peers
- Draft proposals, prepare client presentations, and review legal agreements.
- Build strong client relationships in order to manage churn in challenging economic environments.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Client Support, Editorial and other support functions as required to ensure best-in-class account management; troubleshooting technical issues, addressing billing issues and maintaining accurate customer records/interactions
- Build a strong working knowledge of the Bloomberg L.P. ecosystem and stay current across our constantly evolving media products to help make the right recommendations to prospects.
- Contribute to innovating and optimising our products and services via client feedback.
**You"ll need to have**:
- At least 7 years of sales & account management experience in new business development and customer acquisition
- Prior experience in licensing and/or corporate subscription sales in APAC
- Experience in external client presentations, pitches and proposals along with software proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote and similar tools
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
**We would love to see**:
- A grasp of another Asian language to support business development in growth markets across APAC
