We are looking for a Merchandising Planning Manager to join our merchandising team in Singapore. This role will report directly to the Regional Head of Merchandising and will be a permanent position.

As the Merchandising Planning Manager, you contribute to maximizing profitable sales growth across markets and channels in the APAC region by optimizing supply based on demand. In this role, you will be the key support for the APAC Merchandising team in selling forecast and stock management. At the same time, it is your responsibility to set the best possible sales plan and secure adequate buying levels to support it.

**Job Description**:
What you will do:

- Develop top-down view on regional demand plan, stock and reduction cost targets in alignment with Regional commercial strategy and financial plan
- You drive your results through a high level of salesmanship, great analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Support the Merchandising Team in your region with actions on stock
- and sales development and update selling forecast based on commercial planning
- Provide rolling update on forecast and deviation from current plan of region/market demand & inventory levels to proactively identify needed actions (short, mid & long term) on buying and stock management
- Coach Merchandisers in setting bottom-up sales plan. Drive the sales planning process with the team
- Develop regional exit strategies and take actions for unwanted inventory to maximize selling and profitability with Supply Chain Merchandiser
- Run analyses of customer group/concept growth potential to identify Regional opportunities and recommend Regional strategy in collaboration with Merchandisers
- Constantly explore and implement how to improve the field of buying and stock management in the APAC region
- Lead your team towards maximizing profitable sales growth through best in class merchandising planning practices

**Qualifications**:
About you:

- Previous experience within merchandising in a senior position
- Advanced excel skills and comfortable in creating templates
- Deep understanding of stock management strategies and merchandising planning
- Experience from working in a regional role managing Asia Pacific markets including China, Korea and Australia
- Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace in an ever-changing environment
