**JOB PURPOSE**:
Supervise a team of Housekeepers in ensuring that the rooms, front and back of the house are cleaned and maintained in accordance with the prescribed standards and that all defects are being reported and rectified.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
1. Conduct daily inspections of rooms, front and back of the house and ensure that they are cleaned and maintained to the required standards.
2. Ensure that all faults and defects are rectified within the specified time frame.
3. Attend to guest request promptly, proactively observe and report guest’s preferences and needs.
4. To conduct rounds of entire assigned area, checking for items in need of immediate attention.
5. To check all supplies and equipment to be sure they are in working condition.
6. To keep a record of all rooms deep-cleaned in each section so that rooms are periodically deep-cleaned on a rotating basis.
7. To report any damage to guestrooms, corridors, or equipment seen or reported.
8. To report to the engineering department any defect or equipment failure that cannot be corrected by the housekeeping department.
9. Conduct stock inventory and recommend procurement accordingly.
10. Any other duties as assigned.
**KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Functional knowledge in room cleaning.
2. Knowledge in customer service.
3. Knowledge in inventory and stock count.
4. Diploma in hospitality preferred or minimum of ‘A’ Level with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisor capacity in both Operations and Housekeeping.
**SKILLS**:
1. Computer literacy and numeracy skills.
2. Familiar with hotel systems such as Opera Cloud.
3. Good oral and written English skills.
4. Leadership and training skills.
