We are seeking a future team member for the role of Principal, Program and Project Management to join our Enterprise Change Office (ECO) team. This role is in Singapore and is currently hybrid requiring 3 days in the office.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

- Manages all aspects of a project from initiation to completion as per BNY Mellon frameworks and procedures. Responsible for leading cross-functional teams across multiple locations that are focused on managing aspects of the project/program to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. Develops, defines, and executes project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects and defines and assigns major project roles. Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Monitors the program/project from initiation through completion.
- Leads and provides direction and guidance for many activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications.
- Manages and oversees the end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high complexity. Directs and controls all work performed. Reports and escalates progress/issues to senior management, as needed.
- Manages vendor and client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Maintains regular contact with clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.
- May provide input for (project) team member performance appraisals. Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
- Serves as a liaison between clients and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Manages communication with business leaders at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues. Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery.
- Participate in project audits

To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or a related field is required.
- 10-12 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred. Project Management (PMP / PMI-ACP) certification and/or Prince2 certification are preferred.
- Strong experience in Financial Services. Knowledge of Asset Servicing, Investment management or Banking operation processes and systems preferred.
- A leader, clear communicator, and self-starter, ready to facilitate project requirement discussions and follow through.
- Politically astute and strong stakeholder management including facilitating, training, and coaching.
- Organized, details oriented and outcome focus.
- Delivers compelling and effective presentations and written communications.
- Experience coordinating analyses across multiple time zone and cultures (knowledge of Mandarin or Korean languages seen as a plus, to support market segments and projects)
- Experienced in enterprise level reporting (Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint)
