Senior / Payroll and Reporting Specialist

**Role Purpose**

This role is responsible to support global payroll processing. Liaising with payroll vendor globally for payroll related matters. Assist HR Manager on compensation and benefit scope. Tasks involved are compensation and benefits review, bonus plan and increment policies review, performance appraisal exercises, analysis of market trends, job evaluation, and related matters etc.

**Role Accountabilities
**Payroll Processing**
- Responsible to liaise with payroll vendor for all countries payroll related matters.
- Liaise with HRBP and internal stakeholders on global payroll related matters.
- Responsible in all government statutory and ad-hoc surveys.
- Perform government-paid claims such as NS claim, Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave, Paternity Leave, FW levy and other related claims.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll processing.
- Generate monthly and ad-hoc reporting.
- Coordinate all countries reporting including finance reporting.
- Generate payroll-related reports and analyses, including headcount, turnover, and government statutory reports.
- To support with internal and external auditors and/or tax agents on audit related matters.
- Assist in payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.

**Compensation and Benefits Reporting**
- Provide support for Annual increment, variable bonus and promotion exercises with HRBPs.
- Support HRBP in year-end performance appraisal exercise.
- Participate and conduct analyze results of compensation surveys.
- Assist in conducting job evaluation survey.
- Work with HR Manager to provide support to HRBP on Annual increment, variable bonus and promotion exercises such as providing the template and budgets.
- Assist HR Manager to develop and implement C&B policies, programs and procedures to ensure comply with current legislation.
- Assist HR Manager for long service award coordination globally including liaising with vendors.

**Processes**
- Assist to develop and maintain the standardized global payroll process flow and its related templates etc.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits.
- Liaising with HRBP and payroll provider on pay elements setup.
- Work with relevant stakeholders for data protection and privacy impact assessment and its related documentation.
- Identify pain points/issues timely by reviewing the standard processes.

**Key Qualifications & Skills**

**Qualifications**
- Possess minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/HR Management, or related studies
- At least 2 years of payroll processing/managing vendor working experience
- Able to start immediately or within short notice

**Technical Skills**

- Good organizational and time management skills
- Have basic understanding of HR processes
- Familiar with payroll-related standards and best practices
- Knowledge in HRIS is an added advantage
- Be proficient in using Microsoft tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive etc)
- Possess good computer and IT skills
