As an Assistant Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and performance of our clients' equipment through hands-on on-site activities. This position is ideal for someone with technical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to excel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in conducting on-site maintenance and troubleshooting activities, focusing on vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, alignment, ultrasound diagnostics and technical assessment.
- Learn and assist in performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues, ensuring mínimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Support the implementation of preventive maintenance strategies to proactively address potential equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with the field engineering team to assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, helping them optimize their equipment performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports, findings, and recommendations.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while working on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge or exposure to vibration analysis, balancing, alignment, or ultrasound diagnostics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Possession of a valid Singapore driving license Class 3 is essential.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Prior experience in an industrial equipment or machinery field is a plus.

**Salary**: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Yearly bonus

**Education**:

- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Do you hold a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License? (preferred)
