Requirements:The Contracts Manager negotiates, drafts, reviews and maintains a range of contract documents required by the organisation. He/She also develops, implements and maintains contracts management systems and policies in corporations or government agencies. His/Her role involves advisory and supervisory duties, in addition to monitoring, reporting, planning and coordination aspects of work. He/She is required to engage proactively in continuous improvement and review of existing compliance processes, systems and policies. He/She is expected to possess specialist knowledge and skills required for niche areas, such as structured products and derivatives documentation in the Banking and Finance industry.
- Responsibilities:Negotiate, draft, review and maintain a range of routinely-encountered, but complex agreements and related documents.
- Research and communicate developments on regulatory issues that impact agreements.
- Support the development and implementation of contracts management policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Support the use of technology to prepare documents for standardised transactions.
- Update documentation templates and guidance notes for ease of use.
