**Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Greets guests warmly and takes food and beverage order; providing information about products and achieve up-selling.
- Follows recipes directions for mixing beverages.
- The bartender must have have a strong knowledge of food and beverage in general and the hotel’s menu in particular. Their skills must be at the same level as a lead server, as many guests choose to dine at the bar.
- Collects payments and operates cash registers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions; secures the cash bank at the end of each shift.
- Follows alcohol training and procedures in preventing guest intoxication and underage consumption.
- Ensures a clean, sanitised and well stocked bar.
- To provide under the direction of the restaurant and bar manager a prompt and efficient service in a friendly, helpful manner.
- Bar must look tidy at all times during opening time.
- To be responsible for the beverage stock and prevention of wastage.
- The utmost priority for this position is to deliver guests an unforgettable experience.
- Opening and closing duties.
- Uphold luxury restaurant standards and superb guest service.
- Carry out assignments allocated by the Lead bartender and the Restaurant Managers to maintain a high standard of cleanliness as per local state laws and company standards.
- Making sure to work the department base on product specification with COMO Hotels and Resorts aligned with Leading Quality Assurance standards.
