**Job Description**:
The Singapore Service Business Team Lead is responsible for execution and team management throughout the life cycle of service projects, maintenance contracts and other technical support of our valued customers. The Service Team Lead will manage a team of Service Engineers while also managing on individual projects, maintenance contract and other technical support for key customers. Mentoring skills are critical in ensuring that all team members are successful in completing their assigned projects and service accounts. The Lead Engineer is accountable for successfully planning, controlling, and managing project deliverables and manpower deployment based on the timeline of different projects and contractual commitment and will work closely with the other project managers in his/her role.

Key Areas of Accountability
_Specific responsibilities and expectations of the position)_

Functional- Accountable to manage the overall planning of the service orders execution and manpower deployment- Accountable for assigned projects/ assignment and ensure the realization in terms of scope, timeline, cost and customer satisfaction as per project requirement.- Provide technical assistance and field service to the customers by performing one or more of the following:
- Field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance and warranty implementation.-
- Troubleshooting of hardware and software problems at customer site.-
- Provide customer coordination of RA products (PLC, Drive etc) and systems by performing the following functions:
- On-site analysis and specification preparation.Programming assistance.-
- Project coordination between customer, OEM sales, product division, etc.-
- Technical support - field start-up, integration and maintenance.-
- Documentation.-
- Testing and acceptance.-
- Provide proper reporting of technical, administrative and accounting information as required.-
- Make recommendations for product improvements, especially as they affect operations and reliability of RA products.-
- Responsible to conduct training for RA EIT along with the main training instructor-
- Maintains assigned equipment to insure good operating conditions and calibration.-
- Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network.- Other duties to be assigned by Immediate Supervisor.

SKILLS
_Technical/ Functional Skills required for the role)_:
- Ability to design, develop, program and troubleshoot different PLC, HMI, LV / MV Drives, Servo Drive and SCADA systems.- Good communication and writing skill- Knowledge of MS-office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, MS Project)

EXPERIENCE:
- Experienced to handle small team of 3-5 engineers.- Minimum of five years field support experience utilizing programmable controllers, numerical controls, computers or motor controls and drives industrial automation control systems.- Good experience on Rockwell Different PLC (e.g. PLC5, SLC500, CLX, CMX), Drives (PF755 or PF753), Servo Drives- Experience on non-Rockwell PLC is an added advantage

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent and/or registration as a professional engineer.
