We are representing an established European commodities trading firm for an Operations Analyst position based in the regional HQ, Singapore.

Responsible for trade confirmations and settlements, it is a new headcount to support the growing APAC business.

**Role responsibilities include**

**Clearing**
- Monitoring and reconciliation of daily clearing activities, approval of margin and invoice payments
- Verification of monthly exchange/clearinghouse, clearing banks, and broker invoices
- Issuance and reconciliation of spot exchange invoices
- Close collaboration and coordination with other internal support functions with regards to clearing relevant topics and company-wide finance reporting
- Support the implementation of new products including appropriate process documentation according to audit and compliance standards
- Active monitoring of market changes and regulatory initiatives as well as their impact on the clearing area

**OTC Derivatives**
- Daily confirmation and settlement activities including Trade Checks between the confirmation or recap and the trading systems, as well as matching of confirmations from counterparties against internal systems
- Implementation of new markets and products including appropriate process documentation according to audit and compliance standards
- Work closely with internal and IT teams to enable the automation of confirmations as much as possible

**Basic Qualifications/Requirements**
- Minimum Diploma qualification
- Good knowledge about exchanges and clearing processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Operations, Settlements and Confirmation, Back-Office role, with previous experience managing either projects or processes, would be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of IT software (MS Office, Endur, SAP)
