Dowsure Singapore is looking for a senior position (Director / Professional) to lead the overseas Debt Capital Markets desk, who will be responsible for all aspects of capital markets, including sourcing, closing, operationalizing, and managing debt funding relationships. Negotiate and structure innovative debt transactions to optimize our cost of capital and maintain funding targets. Build and actively maintain a robust funding pipeline; engage, establish and manage relationships with new and existing private credit investors (including family offices, credit funds, total return funds, etc.). In addition, develop and manage relationships with counterparties, including bank partners, investors, rating agencies, tax advisors, and external counsel.
- Raising funds from global debt investors, including but not limited to commercial banks, debt funds, PE, family offices, risk bonds, etc.
- Ways of raising funds include but are not limited to direct debt financing, structured financing, asset securitization (ABS/ABN), joint loan (overseas), guarantee, etc.
- The raised funds are used to provide credit facilities to third-party merchants/sellers of large cross-border e-commerce platforms, covering China (including Hong Kong), Southeast Asia and other regions.

The fundraising target is mainly based on the lending scheme, which is expected to reach $1 billion next year.

**What you'll do**:

- Supports the growth of SME lending business through negotiating and onboarding strategic funding / joint-finance partners.
- Develop forecast models and presentations to market Dowsure to institutional investors and lenders; create regular touchpoints with potential funders to keep Dowsure top of mind.
- Provide strategic analysis and insights on new opportunities outside of existing funding structures and relationships, including new lending product ideas, emerging capital sources (e.g. crypto), and equity opportunities.
- Responsible for daily operating relationships with our capital markets providers, including interfacing with lenders, providing periodic reporting, and discussing new product offerings.
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements, notices, and reporting; work with Finance, Product and Tech teams to develop near and long-term reporting infrastructure to support debt facilities.
- Actively work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Operations teams to provide a capital markets perspective into the business strategy of SME lending.
- Support Finance team in cash management, treasury, and foreign exchange strategy.
- Support Management in building board and executive-level presentations to guide business strategy decisions as it relates to the company’s funding plans.

***What you'll need**:

- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, debt markets, and related analytical finance roles, ideally with at least 3 years in a fintech.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in SME lending products, with FinTech companies, banks or e-commerce.
- Expert level knowledge in the capital markets space with a strong understanding of financial debt instruments and ABS structured products.
- Strong knowledge of SME lending products, Supply Chain financing, the fintech landscape.
- E-commerce experience is a plus.
- Must be self-starter and a quick learner, independent and flexible, with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on cross-functional projects.
- Self-driven to deliver, with an intrapreneurial mindset to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Strong marketer with superb communication, deck-building, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-builder, both internally and externally.
