**FULL-TIME JAPANESE SOUS CHEF (LOCAL JAPANESE RESTAURANT)**

**Working Location: Lavender - Aperia Mall**

**Salary Package: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,800 (commensurate with experience)**

Dynamic working environment, with staff meals and uniform provided.

Older workers are welcome.

Your responsibilities include supporting the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen operations. You will be handling a wide range of raw seafood and other ingredients in Japanese cuisine, working with an attention to detail, to fulfil all orders within best quality standards.
- Prepare different types of fish and seafood.
- Preparing cooked Japanese cuisine
- Ensuring quality of fruits, vegetables and fish used to prepare sushi dishes.
- Regularly taking inventory of food supplies, and prompt replenishment of supplies as needed.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness in compliance with SFA/NEA licensing requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.

**Working Hours**

**10:30am - 2:30pm (weekdays and weekends, Shift 1)**

**5:30pm - 9:30pm (weekdays and weekends, Shift 2)**

**-Shift break between 3pm-6pm-**

**Requirements**:

- Able to work 6 days a week (off one day a week).
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
- Obtain a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a Japanese restaurant.
- Able to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
