**As a Test Automation Lead at Flipster**

You will lead the **Test Automation team**, focusing on building and operating scalable automated testing infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality across development and release pipelines, and help enhance our release velocity and reliability through automation.

The Test Automation team works **in close partnership with QA**, ensuring that manual and automated testing strategies align effectively across the organization.

**Location : This is a global remote position.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks.
- Ensure test coverage across key business flows, including regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, and design teams to expand automated test coverage as features mature.
- Define and track quality-related automation metrics, using data to continuously improve test effectiveness.
- Coach and support test automation engineers to deliver maintainable and efficient test code.
- Align test automation efforts with engineering and product release goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation engineering.
- Deep understanding of test automation’s role in the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Python-based frameworks.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
- Proven experience leading or managing test automation engineers or teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

**Preferred**:

- Experience working in a fintech or** crypto-related** product team.
- Passion for improving engineering velocity through automation.
- Ability to define and evolve test automation strategies for complex systems.
- Professional working proficiency in Korean. (written and spoken)
