Marketnode is looking to revolutionise the way traditional financial instruments are originated, traded, booked, and serviced using DLT with a focus on credit, funds and structured products.

At Marketnode, we operate two flagship platforms:

- ** Gateway** is a one-stop, end-to-end platform encompassing data, workflow, tokenization and asset servicing
- ** Fundnode** is a one-stop funds settlement infrastructure for transaction management, funds processing, and record-keeping

Having recently closed our Series A investment with major financial institutions, Marketnode is now well positioned for it’s next growth phase and is looking for a lead engineer to oversee our digital asset development pod, working closely with our technology, product management and external partners to build upon and deliver an enterprise grade multi-asset tokenization infrastructure.

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on development work (and lead a team of software engineers in building smart contracts to model capital market products and their workflows using Solidity deployed on mutliple chains; public and private
- Develop reusable components to expedite the deployment of new, innovative products
- Set technical standards and working practices for other developers, including code quality, security considerations and automated testing
- Work with other development teams to make the platform available via our UI and APIs
- Collaborate with the architecture and operations teams regarding network design and operation, including L2 and L3 support
- Accepts project delivery responsibilities and demonstrates accountability to leadership for committed plans

**Experience**:

- 5+ years working as an senior engineer within the financial services sector, coding in relevant programming languages (Java, Python)
- 2+ years working as a senior engineer using DLT
- Knowledge of capital market products e.g. fixed income or wealth products e.g. funds, structured products

**Skills**:

- **Technical Development**: Proficiency in various programming and scripting languages (e.g., Solidity, Java) in order to set technical direction and mentor team members.
