Animation Director

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the Animation & Art (illustration) Teams with planning, directing and designing impactful and attractive art and animation content
- Consult with internal stakeholders and teams from all disciplines
- Meeting with clients to understand their message, brand voice and target audience
- Maintains creative standards across all art and animation outputs for internal projects and clients
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a small team of artists and animators
- Consistently demonstrate sound creative judgment across strategy, ideation, craft and resource management
- Keen interest with new digital technologies and social media best practices.

**What are we looking for?**
- A recognized qualification in Art, Media, Communications or equivalent would be advantageous, though not always compulsory
- At least 5 years of animation directing experience in an animation studio, production company, advertising, PR, or online marketing agency or similar field.
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop and others
- Cinema 4D or Blender experience is desirable
- Familiar with art and character design, 2D vector character animation and VFX
- Detail-oriented, keen eye for colour, composition, typography
- Understands branding, illustration and animation process
- Deep expertise on what art and animation concepts work on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linkedin
- Able to confidently pitch ideas and lead creative direction with clients and internal teams
- Able to research, conceptualise and work independently
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced working environment
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
