The Role

Our business is seeking to engage an experienced Executive Director, well-versed in all things Energy Transition, to join our team. Based in Singapore, you’ll be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the activities of the Energy Transition Sub Sector in collaboration with the wider SJ Group business.

You’ll ensure consistency and cohesion across both the sub sector and its parent sector, with the effect of growing the SJ Group Infrastructure + Energy business line through optimal people, commercial, business development, client relationship management and project performance.

High-level responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Providing strategic direction for the Energy Transition to support SJ Group’s vision and values
- Managing the profit and loss of the Energy Transition globally
- Ensuring capability development and mobilisation of Energy Transition resources
- Managing Energy Transition client relationships

About You

Suitable applicants will be/have:

- Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline (essential); Post graduate qualifications in appropriate discipline (highly regarded); & Project Management qualification (desirable);
- Circa 20+ years’ industry experience, recognised as an authority in Energy Transition and has undertaken multiple Senior Manager roles in similar consulting organisations;
- Thorough understanding of the external market and skills to translate this knowledge to strategies, projects and people;
- High level communication skills, including negotiating and resolving highly complex commercial, technical and people matters;
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and theories and capacity for continuous learning;
- Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations;
- Actively participates in industry forums and workshops;
- Strong leadership and motivational ability;
- Analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking, coupled with customer orientation, proven management skills and commercial and business awareness.
