**What the role is**

Based in Singapore, you will join the SA team on its mission to strengthen and diversify Singapore’s economic relations with our key South Asia economic partners such as India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. You will help Singapore companies to enter these markets, navigate through regulatory frameworks and business norms, and establish strategic contacts with overseas counterparts. You will closely engage with foreign and Singapore’s officials, in-market business houses, identify key growth industries, develop sector or segment strategies and projects to help Singapore companies establish their presence.

**What you will be working on**

To thrive as a member of our team, you welcome the challenge of working in a complex and dynamic environment, and be flexible in responding to ambiguity and uncertainty. You enjoy opportunities to initiate and facilitate the execution of projects across different sectors with partners in Singapore and South Asia markets. Besides being independent and resourceful, you are creative in problem solving and cope well under pressure. Frequent travel to South Asia countries can also be expected.

**What we are looking for**

You should have a degree, preferably with at least 3 years of working experience in areas such as business development/consulting. Relevant experience working with the Singapore public sector and/or emerging markets is an advantage.
