We are looking for a CTO with deep technical expertise in DMS development and strong passion to work with like-minded entrepreneurs to create the future of the logistic economy.

**Job Overview**

As a Depot IT Team Leader, you will set up and lead a team of hardware and software engineers in a thriving growing market, to drive the staff members' capabilities at our platform while operating in close alignment to our approach and philosophy.

You will guide the team to work closely to proliferate data-driven decision making at depot. This include identifying and executing a pipeline of impactful depot IT development projects, proposing improvements to the depot’s data management practices and analytics infrastructure. Where necessary, you will also help the team in overcoming project blockers, by working with partner’s IT teams on the setup of relevant tools, systems and infrastructures needed for project development and deployment.

This role requires an individual with strong management and communication skills. Individuals with strong problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to lead a team to deliver sound and robust depot management solutions are welcome to apply.

**What to Expect**

**You will be involved in a range of tasks including the following**
- Manage the company’s technological strategies and plans
- Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
- Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help departments use technology profitably
- Ensure quality assurance and data protection including intangible assets management are considered in processes
- Safeguard the intellectual property, prevent security breaches and keep client information confidential
- Monitor KPIs and R&D budgets to assess technological performance
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
- Work closely with stakeholders to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

**Skills and experience required**
- Minimum 20 years of software development experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience with any 2 of the following languages with the ability and willingness to learn new languages: Java, C, JavaScript
- At least 10-year experience of working ERP & MES
- At least of 20 years of mechanical and electrical equipment development experience, Have rich design, installation, maintenance, and management skills. Have a deep understanding of PLC and frequency converter
- At least of 20 years embedded system development experience, Familiar with single chip microcomputer and embedded system hardware circuit design; Master one of Cadence and Altium Designer; Have solid analog circuit, digital circuit design and analysis ability
- Expert in control theory and have profound mathematics foundations
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to share/collaborate with peers
- Ability to write, audit and deploy code, and set up proper processes for other people to do this with utmost cybersecurity
- Cybersecurity: Have a strong understanding of crypto-related cybersecurity
- Creativity: think outside the box and deliver innovative and original solutions
- Tenacious: show determination to succeed and the drive to deliver outstanding results
- Result focused: set performance targets that are ambitious yet realistic and measurable, and manage their achievement in a structured way
- Highest standards: Exceeding expectations is not enough. The CEO needs to know how to supersede even the highest of standards
- Fluent in Mandarin and can travel to China once every two weeks
- Expert in depot daily operation
