Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader

The role of the Maintenance Team Leader is to oversee a team of maintenance personnel to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rolling stock, depot and workshop equipment. This includes ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to perform maintenance tasks
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Technology/ Engineering from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in railway environment
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
