The QEHS Compliance Engineer is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining and ensuring compliance to an effective Global Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
The QEHS Compliance Engineer collaborates and reports to the Global Quality Director and works in partnership with QMS Manager and ISO Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Create, implement and train an Environmental health and safety (EHS) Program that will be embedded into QMS Globally.
- Ensure compliance with an effective Global Quality Management System (QMS).
- Collaborate with Global Management team to raise awareness and promote EHS initiatives, processes, and procedures.
- Monitors the QMS and its processes to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
- Monitors key performance indicators with regards to quality processes and implements corrective and preventative actions necessary to achieve planned results while maintaining the integrity of the QMS.
- Manages and monitors the calibration maintenance of measurement devices including customer provided devices.
- Collaborates with QC Managers in region to maintain the Company’s quality inspection program for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
- Interface with internal and external customers as requested on audits and other quality issues.
- Responsible for participating in and/or ensuring external and internal audits of the quality system, company locations, and suppliers are performed and resulting quality records are recorded and stored with proper care and accessibility.
- Maintains current knowledge of all regulatory requirements for regional warehouses and provides awareness of any changes that effect our QEHS Globally

Skills & Requirements:

- Experience managing quality standard such as: ISO 9001, AS 9120, AS9100, ISO 14001, AS6081 and ANSI.ESD-20.20
- Internal Auditor Experience in ISO or AS Standards
- Ability to prepare new content, train, and articulate QEHS Concepts to all departments within our Global Company
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
- Ability to speak, write and understand English language.

Extra Credit but not required:

- Previous experience in the distribution or manufacturing of electronic components
- Internal or external auditor certification in any quality standard.
- Six sigma black or green belt certification preferred.
