Job Title: QEHS Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain our Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001).
• Plan and lead internal audits and coordinate external certification and surveillance audits.
• Cascade company objectives into departmental targets; facilitate periodic Management Review Meetings and report progress, nonconformities, and improvement actions to ensure the targets of departments and the company will be achieved.
• Organize QHES committee meetings to ensure all QHES information is shared with management and the direction is clear.
• Maintain bizSAFE certificates, plan, and lead external audits for certification renewals.
• Develop and deliver QEHS inductions and refresher programs for staff and site personnel; maintain training matrices and competency records.
• Share HQ instructions, news, and materials as well as updates and information from local authorities in a timely manner to ensure employees are fully aware of the latest information.
• Lead risk assessments for project sites and ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
• Perform regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, or potential risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
• Support superiors in mapping group companies' required ISO certifications (e.g., 9001/14001/45001), renewal cycles, and audit status; escalate gaps and provide necessary support for each entity.
• Review local QEHS organizations, risk controls, and leading/lagging indicators; conduct remote/onsite assessments and coach smaller entities lacking in-house expertise.
• Support superiors in rolling out corporate QEHS standards, campaigns, and training; harmonize procedures and forms; support incident investigations and share lessons learned and other QHES information across the region. Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Quality/Industrial Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing QEHS in industries such as power plants, industrial plants, or Oil & Gas.
• Experience handling ISO External Audits regionally.
• Experience maintaining bizSAFE certificates and handling external audits for renewals.
• Exposure to sustainability reporting (waste, energy, water, emissions, etc.) and corporate initiatives.
• Experience working in engineering for power plants and industrial plants equipment. Benefits:
