Your mission as a ServiceLine Specialist for ServiceNow is to be responsible for building and growing sales in their region, working closely with the Regional Business Development Director to find new clients and expand current revenue. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering on your specific Sales Plan to help meet overall company goals.

**Who are we looking for?**

A sales manager plays a pivotal role in an organization by overseeing and leading the sales team. This multifaceted role involves setting and managing sales targets, developing strategic plans, monitoring team performance, and ensuring the achievement of revenue goals. Sales managers are responsible for training and developing the sales team, fostering customer relationships, and managing budgets effectively. They contribute to the organization's success by collaborating with other departments, conducting market research, and making data-driven decisions. Additionally, sales managers are often involved in the hiring process, recruiting, and selecting qualified sales representatives, and ensuring the team is well-equipped to drive the company's sales objectives. Effective communication, leadership, and strategic thinking are essential skills for success in the dynamic role of a sales manager.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team by setting goals, providing coaching, and ensuring that the team works effectively to meet sales targets. Promote professional development through ongoing training, mentorship, and skill enhancement.
- Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategic sales plans aligned with overall business objectives. Work closely with upper management to define objectives, identify target markets, and plan approaches to stimulate revenue growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics. Regularly analyze results, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure targets are achieved.
- Training and Development: Lead training programs for new sales representatives and offer continuous development opportunities for the team, enhancing their knowledge in sales techniques, product offerings, and customer relationship management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, participating in high-level negotiations and addressing customer concerns to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimizing costs while meeting financial constraints.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze comprehensive sales reports, market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Present insights and sales performance updates to senior management, adjusting strategies where necessary to capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Collaboration Across Departments: Work with marketing, finance, and product development teams to align sales efforts with business objectives, coordinating promotions, pricing strategies, and product launches.
- Market Research and Innovation: Stay informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and industry changes. Adapt sales approaches to leverage emerging opportunities and maintain competitiveness in the market.
