Director, Apoc Fulfillment

We are seeking an experienced Senior Level Fulfillment and Logistics Director to lead the operational arm of the Asia-Pacific Operating Center (all Asia-Pacific countries, Japan, India and China). This role will also help drive end to end, global transformation of our supply chain network. This influential and inspirational leader will plan and lead our supply chain’s product distribution in the region as well as revolutionize our value chain with cutting edge digital technology. The successful hire for this critical role will play a leadership role in Microsoft’s Devices Supply Chain organization’s goal of achieving market leading capability and performance by leveraging company-wide expertise and volumes to deliver higher quality, lower costs and innovative products and services that maximize our customers’ experiences and success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all Fulfillment and Logistics operations and strategy in the APOC Region (all Asia Pacific countries, China, India, and Japan) including fulfillment centers, outbound logistics, returns and reverse logistics, configuration, manufacturing logistics, capabilities, and infrastructure.
- Identifying and implementing transformational initiatives that deliver significant positive differentiators resulting in increased service level and performance with our customers and consumers.
- Acts as a role model for Microsoft Values across the Supply Chain organization.
- Improves existing processes on local level while driving global process guidelines and designs.
- Ensures that systems and processes are used correctly, driving efficiencies where required.
- Leads engagement with internal and external partners on improvement initiatives. Focusing on leveraging best practices across all regions
- Operational performance optimization and improvement of Fulfillment and Logistics activities, reporting on same and ownership of the last mile to our customers
- Ensures that customer requirements are evaluated, prioritized and optimal logistics solutions are developed and deployed.
- Development of key communication reports and processes for customers and manage key business metrics to influence continuous improvement and adherence to the process.
- Responsible for managing external relationships, partner communications and relationships, and supporting discussions on F&L activities across the company
- Engage and develop a world-class team within each area of control, ensuring that the organization structure, talent, and resources are aligned with key business imperatives and provide world-class service to internal/external customers.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 12+ years of experience in supply chain roles preferably within a high tech manufacturer managing across customer segments from Retail, Distributor, Consumer, Enterprise, etc.
- 10+ years’ experience operational experience in distribution, logistics and transportation, with substantial experience managing outsourcing operations and providers
- Proven ability to implement and execute programs in support of corporate strategy
- Proven capability of handling complex program management
- Detailed knowledge of best in class logistics management systems (TMS, WMS, etc.)
- First-hand knowledge and working experience of domestic and international logistics management of tax, trade, and import/export
- Demonstrated project management experience leading large scale projects in a corporate and site-level environment
- Proficient in complex data modeling and analysis. Able to translate data into business recommendations.
