Executive, Halal Assurance

The Executive, Halal Assurance & Client Services will be responsible for ensuring that certification processes and standards are met in accordance with the relevant regulations and requirements. The role will require conducting desktop and site audits of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting the certification process. The position may also provide the opportunity to conduct audits and inspections overseas.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct audits of clients to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to clients based on audit findings
- Prepare audit reports and maintain audit records
- Work with clients and agents to resolve issues identified during the certification process
- Support the development and implementation of new certification processes and standards
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients and other stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies and procedures
- Stay current with changes to regulations, standards, and best practices related to certification.
**Qualification and Skills**
- At least a diploma level in a related field, such as food science, nutrition, biotechnology or quality management
- 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a relevant field, such as quality assurance, certification, or auditing. No experience may also apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in English; additional language skills a plus
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.
