**Responsibilities**
- Be part of the delivery team to deliver Global Portnet (GPN) platform that aims to improve the efficiency and productivity of the global port communities.
- He/ She will be involved in:

- Project Design, Development and Implementation
- Interact with users to understand business processes
- Gathering user requirements comprehensively and perform requirement analysis, working closely with process lead.
- Drafting accurate systems specifications
- Adhering to functional requirements
- Conducting comprehensive systems testing to ensure bug-free programs
- Liaising and communicating the agreed requirement to outsourcers
- Prepare/Review High Level System Design / Detailed Design
- Prepare project specific Technical Requirement Specs
- Coding / Testing / Implementation
- Prepare / Review / Approve Test Plan/ Test Specs
- Perform Quality Review for Implementations
- Prepare and conduct User training
- Identify and escalate project related issues to Project Manager
- Assist Project Manager to prepare project progress reporting
- Resolve rollout issues
- Perform operations support role to ensure smooth running of the systems
- Prompt response to reported system problems
- Quick resolution of problems
- Handling of complex/critical / urgent issues involving decision making
- Document system problems and resolutions for future reference
- Provide training to new staff
- Application Domain expertise
- Business Domain expertise
- Maintain a complex system independently
- Quality Assurance Manual Testing
- Interact with users to understand business processes
- Working with cross-functional teams on test planning and guide team for automated testing and test executions
- Ensure that product is working per requirements gathered and bugs free
- Value add to test case creation, design and preparation process
- Perform Quality Review for Implementations

**Requirements**:

- Education Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT related discipline
- Relevant Experience
- At least 8 years of software development experience in Java
- Experience in Java8, SpringBoot, Angular will be advantageous
