**Roles & Responsibilities**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Translate content from Simplified Chinese into English with high quality standards.

2. Review translations in English to ensure consistency and quality.

3. Provide detailed language quality reports on the texts reviewed.

4. Improve glossaries, manage terminology and develop documentation and style guidelines for your language.

5. Provide feedback and collaborate effectively with vendors (freelance translators, recording studios, etc.).

6. Set the creative vision for the target language.

7. Work closely with in-house team members to ensure translations meet the quality standards.

8. Collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the team to improve processes and achieve common goals.

**REQUIREMENTS**
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Simplified Chinese-to-English freelance or in-house translator, preferably in the education industry.

2. Passion for the education industry.

3. Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with people from different cultures.

4. Working knowledge of CAT tools.

5. Educational qualification in linguistics is an advantage.
