
Receptionist

The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact and presents the first impression of the organization to clients and customers.
**A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows**:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them professionally, in person or on the telephone; and to provide basic and accurate information when answering or referring inquiries.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
- Receive, sort, distribute daily incoming and outgoing mails, couriers and coordinate dispatch requests.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (Visitor pass issuance)
- Manage meeting rooms booking, beverage requirements and coordinate with various departments for the setup of meeting rooms
- Manage corporate cards’ (Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens By The Bay, etc.) bookings, cards issuance and editorial subscriptions.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace

- Develop good active listening skills; able to connect visitors and clients with the right department or personnel quickly with minimum hiccups.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Education: Minimum GCE “O” Level qualification.
- Experience: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
