Climate Impact X (CIX) is a Singapore-based global carbon exchange and marketplace that aims to scale the voluntary carbon market; through a joint venture by DBS, SGX, Standard Chartered and Temasek.

CIX offers distinct platforms and products that cater to the needs of different carbon credit buyers and sellers. The Exchange facilitates the sale of large-scale high-quality carbon credits through standardised contracts - catering primarily to MNCs and institutional investors. The Project Marketplace and Auction offer a curated selection of NCS projects that can meet corporate sustainability objectives. Each project on the Project Marketplace and Auction is supported by transparent impact, risk and pricing data.

**Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Conduct client onboarding to the CIX platforms including AML/KYC checks
- Conduct trade operations including settlement, dispute resolution, reconciliation
- Work closely with appointed stakeholders to ensure systems and processes alignment for pre
- and post-trade activities
- Maintain and execute the required KYC and AML policies and procedures
- Prepare reports that are reviewed by management and, in situations involving material rule violations, presented to the disciplinary committees
- Create and maintain static data relating to CIX clients and products
- Ensure trade balances and reconciliations are cleared and documented
- Work with internal and external business partners to design systems and processes to support new product launches
- Ensure smooth functioning of auction, marketplace and exchange platforms (e.g. monitor for potential market manipulation and other violations of membership rules)
- Conduct investigations in connection with monitoring of compliance with auction or exchange rules and develop sound understanding of surveillance and product rules, deliveries and back-office protocols, and surveillance and investigative techniques
- Assist in documenting standard operating procedures for client onboarding, account set-up and asset reconciliations
- Provide ad-hoc support for post-trade exception management

**We're looking someone who**:

- Fresh graduate with a bachelor's degree in business, operations, finance, risk management or any related field.
- Proven understanding of exchange traded products and market surveillance techniques would be an advantage
- Has proven knowledge of AML/ KYC
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills as the role includes engaging market participants and representatives
- Has strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Has interest in sustainability and is keen to make an impact in tackling climate change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and lean environment
