**Junior Market Analyst**

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Middle Distillates Desk as a Junior Market Analyst. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, on-the-job training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Middle Distillates Desk by providing trader with relevant oil market data in a timely insightful fashion. This can include fundamental data gathering, compiling, checking, aggregating and reporting. Fundamental data includes supply, consumption, processing, transportation and capacity information both highly granular and aggregate reporting by statistical agencies;
- Manage and organize detailed price and fundamental data, extract relevant data, and communicate the important implications to traders and other analysts;
- Track and forecast petroleum products movements, prepare regular reports;
- Develop and maintain a variety of tools/dashboards/reports for the trader;
- Prepare ad-hoc fundamental oil market analysis as requested by trader, manager and senior analysts, including event analytics;

**Requirements**:

- BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or related discipline;
- Relevant experience will be an advantage, however not a must. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Strong statistical knowledge (including econometrics data analysis and/or database management);
- Advanced IT skills including Excel (incl VBA programming), data processing (Python) and business intelligence (Tableau), databases and information systems (VBA,SQL), Reuters/Bloomberg is a plus;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills.
- Ability to combine industry knowledge with analysis of internal and external data to present actionable insights, opportunities and threats for the business to address;
- Rigor and attention to detail.
