Business Intelligence Manager

Toku combines local strategic consulting expertise, bespoke technology, regional in-country infrastructure, connectivity and global reach to serve the diverse needs of enterprises operating regionally. To augment our enterprise digital transformation offerings, we recently incorporated a new business consulting unit with a dedicated team of expert consultants into our operations.

Toku is currently getting into a scale-up mode. We want to continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC regions and helping customers with their communications needs. As we build the Business Intelligence foundation, we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager who can help provide insights for the company.

**What would you be doing?**

You will report to our CEO. Together with Toku's CEO and Finance Director, you will define the corporate data strategy and build models to provide strategic insights as well as comprehensive solutions to the different business teams.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of the overall process for master data creation and maintenance to ensure accuracy and consistency across Toku's organisation
- Manage end-to-end data projects; identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyse data, interpret patterns and trends, build models, give recommendations, and create insightful automated reports
- Review day-to-day operation processes, identify areas of improvement, and make actionable recommendations based on underlying analysis
- Establish master data standards and enforce good data practices like robust documentation, versioning, playbooking, processes, and knowledge sharing
- Develop processes and procedures to facilitate the compilation, review and approval of master data to aid business users with defining their data requirements, and to enhance data quality and consistency
- Be the owner of MS Power BI and BI data marts on Databricks
- Create BI dashboard and reports
- Train & coach internal stakeholders on effective report and dashboard utilisation
- Produce insights for periodic business reviews and shareholders' newsletters
- Support ad-hoc data requests

**We would love to hear from you if you have**:

- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analysis or another analytical field
- 7-10 years of relevant working experience
- Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings.
- Excellent analytical skills and independent thinking
- Knowledge of analytics tools required (Databricks/Apache Spark,, SQL, Excel, MS Power BI or Tableau, Python)
- Highly collaborative and experienced with working cross-functionally and with gathering requirements across business teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great interpersonal and presentation skills
- Passion to continually learn and expand hands-on technical skills
- Experience in managing and prioritising multiple projects
- Extremely detail oriented and organised
- A hardworking, self-motivated, and goal-oriented personality
- High integrity and work ethic
- Team player with an ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Able to work under pressure and inspire confidence in others
- Experience with Confluence and/or HubSpot will be a plus
- Proficiency in a second language, both verbal and written, will be an added advantage
