S&op Manager, Vision Care Sg

This role will be the S&OP Manager for Singapore and is part of a country cluster.

The S&OP Manager is responsible for long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Major Accountabilities
- First point of contact on supply chain questions for local commercial teams
- Assess situation and direct questions to appropriate supply chain team member (W&D, Transportation, etc.).
- Interacts with Global Supply team to drive demand/supply management plan throughout the process to ensure financial and customer requirements are achieved.
- Lead local S&OP reviews
- Drive actions with commercial teams to manage demand to available supply to mitigate backorder and obsolescence risks (supply constraints and excess inventory).
- Launch new product in adherence with local strategy, IMG and Global Supply
- Drive optimal S&OP processes within the franchise. This includes developing, maintaining and monitoring all S&OP processes including training, process maintenance and tool set use, to achieve an effective S&OP process.
- Ensure alignment to global demand and supply planning process. Fully understand and convey franchise-unique needs, develop informational decks/reporting to clearly assess plans, including supporting data, analysis, and new developments in supply upsides and constraints.
- Assist franchise in identifying, training and supporting country representatives, demonstrating an effective and sustainable S&OP process.
- Lead unit and dollar demand forecast (including revenue and samples) review.
- Work alongside franchise counterparts to align current demand forecast submission against market activities and sales trends.
- Identify gaps between current plans and financial commitments, derive possible gap closing initiatives and highlight the risks and opportunities.
- Partner with the Local Marketing team on the product portfolio by overseeing franchise product launches/ rationalization/ special promotions, including communications to regulatory group and other key stakeholders.
- Manage Inventory Provisioning and Obsolescence Review Process together with Country Finance as part of the country S&OP process. Highlight risks, drive action and follow through on risk mitigation plans.
- Review PO status at month-end and feedback to FRA
- Manage over/ under shipment management with APL
- Manage product availability / PO inquiries with DFS / APL
- Ensure proper maintenance of historical data in IBP for the country/cluster
- Oversee Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) Process (for multi-DC countries); provide guidance as needed and ensure adherence to local business strategies/priorities

Key Performance Indicators
- Forecast Accuracy: MAPE and BIAS at market level,
- Stock Availability Rates (SAR) / Service Levels (shared KPI with Global Supply and Demand Fulfilment teams),
- Successful New Product Launch / range extension execution,
- Product rationalization execution,
- Adherence of country S&OP process and adoption of S&OP tools in the market to region / global guidelines,
- Obsolescence (shared KPI with Commercial and Finance),
- Inventory reporting and levels (shared KPI with Global Supply and Demand Fulfilment teams)

Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience using SAP ERP and/or SAP BI
- Supply Chain certification (e.g. APICS CPIM, CSCP etc.)
