Are you a Vessel Operator with 5-12 years of experience for chemicals/oil tankers at a shipping or trading company looking for a new challenge?

LNG has grown a lot in Singapore over the last couple of years. It's been a great opportunity for professionals from the well-established chemicals/tankers market to successfully transition their careers. Hence our client is looking for an experienced chemicals/tankers vessel/ship operator.

If you are a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual with demonstrable commercial acumen, consider joining an organization with a strong global LNG trading business and be part of their experienced LNG Shipping team as they continue expanding their office in Singapore and internationally.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide detailed voyage instructions to vessels
- Plan each voyage to align fulfillment to the Company’s contractual commitment and safeguard the company’s commercial interests
- Monitor vessels’ performance such as consumption, speed, and cargo conditions
- Ensure timely issuance of documents such as BL and LOI, surveyor reports, etc.
- Anticipate and contribute recommended ideas to optimize the schedule
- Managing claims such as demurrage, off-specs issues, additional consumption etc.
- Work closely with ship managers/owners to ensure vessels are running as efficiently as possible, with mínimal downtime.
- Liaise with various counterparties including but not limited to buyers, vessel crews, port agents, bunker suppliers, surveyors etc.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Shipping/Maritime, Supply Chain & Logistics, or relevant discipline
- 5 to 12 years of work experience in vessel operations for LNG, chemicals or oil tankers in a shipping or trading company
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Able to work outside office hours if necessary.
