Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Technical Operations Manager to oversee the technical operations of oil tankers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of oil tankers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize vessel performance.
  • Manage the budget for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians to achieve outstanding results.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer on oil tankers.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipping industry.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
