Our client, a financial institution is urgently looking for suitably qualified professionals to join them as

**Credit Risk Officer**

**(6 months' contract)
**Responsibilities**
- Provide credit risk management of a distinct portfolio of predominantly Pan Asia counterparties (country or sector)
- Perform review and analysis on the firm's counterparties, allocating trading limits and risk appetite for the business to adhere to, including but not limited to working with the firm's entities via bilateral sharing of counterparty information and reviews, participating in client due diligent calls etc
- End-to-end credit risk management including analysis/recommendation/approval of internal rating, quick escalation and solution for any risk events (e.g. real margin call failure, counterparty default, trigger of credit covenants etc.) and close monitoring of counterparty performance to identify any emerging credit risks
- Close collaboration with global teams (Tokyo, Hongkong) focusing on credit risk stripe contributing to the group’s global credit risk management alignment/enhancement

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven track record in Credit Risk Management (CRM) with more than 3 years of experience
- Prefer to have CRM experience in securities products
- Experience in counterparty reviews, specifically in institutional clients (Hedge funds, financial institutions) in the local market as well as across the Pacific
- Strong analytical background to identify key risks, make logical assessments and sound judgement
- High level of communication and coordination capability
