In this role, you will provide wide ranging legal advice to Prudential Financial Advisers Pte Ltd in relation to general corporate commercial insurance work, high value strategic projects, corporate secretarial work, employment matters, litigation and/or arbitration and/or FIDREC mediations and/or dispute resolution work. You will report to the Head of Legal and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
**Job Description**:
- Provide ad-hoc legal advice to business units including legal support in relation to general corporate commercial insurance work, high value strategic projects, corporate secretarial work, employment matters, litigation and/or arbitration and/or FIDREC mediations and/or dispute resolution work- Advise, review and draft a broad spectrum of commercial agreements for business units including the review of insurance products and insurance-related documents.- Provide general advisory and legal support for core insurance matters: product, distribution and operations.- Liaise with external counsel to handle litigation cases.
Who we are looking for:
- Qualified lawyer with 2 - 5 years PQE- Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of Insurance contracts, i.e. Agency, Technology, Introducer, Service/Vendor, Bancassurance Agreements and/or general corporate commercial contracts and/or matters.- Experience in litigation, corporate secretarial and FIDREC matters- Driven, independent, business savvy and meticulous- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders across various levels of seniority
Education- LLB (Honours), 2 - 5 years PQE
Language- Strong command of the English language
