We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled **Commercial Legal Counsel**to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial matters, ensuring the company operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist to oversee legal matters for the Malaysia and Singapore office, including corporate transactions and operational support for key departments such as logistics.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to contracts, partnerships, and vendor agreements.
- Provide legal guidance and support to various internal departments on commercial legal matters, including sales, marketing, and procurement.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
- Maintain precedent agreements and other relevant databases.
- Assist and support corporate secretarial matters for group companies.
- Perform KYC/AML monitoring and conduct enhanced due diligence investigations, including escalations when necessary.
- Provide legal support on ad-hoc projects as required.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree or above in law from a reputable university.
- Licensed to practice law; admission to the Bar in Singapore or another Commonwealth jurisdiction (preferably Malaysia) is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant commercial legal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong understanding of relevant corporate, commercial, and financial regulations.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential. Proficiency in Malay is an advantage, as this role involves engaging with customers across various regions.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, self-motivation, teamwork, clear communication, and strong problem-solving skills.
