Position Summary:
This position is within HARMAN’s Professional Solutions SBU. The Professional Solutions SBU requires a competent product and solutions expert to become its Product & Application Manager. The position will work within a matrix organization and will have to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and will also provide technical training to support business to achieve their objectives using HARMAN solutions.

Job description:

- Build and execute product strategies working with Products and R&D team to identify the right Asia-for-Asia products for APAC markets.
- Drive the development of products that are part of integrated solutions and targeted at specific end-customer segments.
- Design and program Martin lighting solutions to suit customers needs.
- Work with Lighting business and Products SBU as part of new product development process.
- Work with technology team to create ideas for next generation and cutting-edge technologies and products
- Work closely with Solutions Managers, Marketing, and Channel Sales/Sales Ops to develop world-class sales tools, training, and product selling collaterals.
- Contribute to product launches to ensure sales force readiness, accurate forecast and product transitions.
- Manage internal and external training initiatives with relevant stakeolders, such as basic Systems Design and Integration training program
- Provide effective solutions into our designs and support and provide guidance to new systems integrator on-site for major projects

Basic Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in a Lighting solutions related products
- Deep understanding of Entertainment Lighting ecosystem and Influencers in the ASEAN region
- Strong organization skills, including the ability to work on cross-functional project teams effectively
- Ability to understand business and customers requirements and provide technical support
- The ability to travel (>60%), and occasionally with little notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Able to interface directly with engineers and translate product specifications into engineering requirements
- Ability to interact effectively and comfortably with executive and senior management either in distributors, customers or end-users throughout the region
- Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills

Eligibility Requirements:

- Willingness to travel regionally at short notice (> 60%).
- Willingness to work in an office.
