**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, financial reporting, Operations P&L and performance analysis for multiple hotels.
- Review and analyze all accounts before issuing final monthly financial statements.
- Oversee and monitor the Finance team’s daily operations, mainly cash collections, accounts payable, accounts receivables and journals.
- Lead the monthly stock take for hotels (if any).
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances on a monthly basis.
- Monitor cash flows, cash position, and advise on fund transfers where required.
- Prepare monthly cash flow projections, be involved in annual budgeting and forecast exercise.
- Perform strict budget monitoring and analysis of the variance between budget vs actual of each business performance.
- Initiate any grant submission for approvals.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance to SOP.
- Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, processes, and policies to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices.
- Assist in implementation of new processes and accounting related systems when required.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors (prepare documents & answer queries), tax agents, banks (accounts opening & maintenance), corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities independently.
- Prepare and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT), audits, procedures, and forms.
- Review and provide guidance on internal administrative work (eg. Bank documents, corporate secretarial documents and etc).
- Be fully acquainted with the established financial standards and procedures set by the Hotel and be in line with the Uniform System of Account for Hotels.
- Handles ad hoc assignments as and when required.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience & supervisory skills, preferably in hospitality sector.
- Familiar with hotel industry practices.
- Possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and hotel and accounting software such as Oracle NetSuite or Opera Cloud system is an added advantage.
- Prior understanding in inter-company transactions is preferred.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Possess leadership and time management skills, self-disciplined and detail oriented.
- Able to start immediately or within short notice.
