Chief Technical Officer Reporting directly to the CEO, you are responsible for leading all engineering, technical and product(s) related activities. The CTO role is to provide strong, dynamic and effective leadership working closely with the senior management team to develop the Company’s engineering capability, deliver, manage and maintain products for the market

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement Company's Technical Roadmap;
- Implement technical strategies across the Company while managing the Technological Roadmap
- Develop and implement a Technical Management Framework;
- Establish, develop and maintain a strong Quality Assurance Framework for all products and production activities;
- Build, develop, and lead engineering department, including internal teams as well as any external vendors & contractors;
- Lead design, mechanical, structural and other engineers as well as other stakeholders to resolve technical issues in order to deliver the optimal solution;
- Provide expert Engerineering, technical and product guidance to all functional areas including executive, commercial and operations;
- Participate in the strategic planning process, coordinating with other departments to align engineering and business priorities;
- Propose new and innovative enhancements to the current product offering together with new products that can be progressively introduced;
- Identify risks and opportunities for each product, taking into account the unique needs in performance, scalability, and security;
- Lead planning, delivery, and release management processes.

**Daily Activities**:

- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of technology roadmaps;
- Defining, evolving and implementing functionality;
- Developing, implementing, utilising, and refining technical frameworks to structure operations, drive progress and increase productivity in the R&D and engineering space

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or similar;
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or similar;
- Proven experience in product development and delivery;
- Strong product development background, with focus on building for scale;
- 5+ years experience in leading/building a high-performance engineering team, being instrumental in deciding on roles, recruitment and growth;
- Previous experience as a Chief Technical Officer / Senior Engineering Manager or a similar role is desirable but not required
- Demonstrated effective leadership of diverse and remote teams;
- Highly developed communication skills
- Proven experience in automating systems
