The Network Engineer is an operational role that aims to become the customers’ trusted advisor. You will primarily focus on daily security operations and incident management adhering to the respective SLAs. This includes responding and providing initial troubleshooting of issues raised by users. You will be assigned to customer’s site to render user technical support, perform regular security reviews, and ensure timely escalations to principals to diagnose and troubleshoot fault incidents.

You will work directly with user to gather their requirement, the fault symptoms, provide and/or execute the resolution or work around based on security best practises.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Daily operational health checks on F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers.
- Perform level 1-2 troubleshooting of F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers and necessary L3 escalation to appointed partner and principal vendor.
- Firmware update & patch management of F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers.
- Execute periodic Service Discovery for F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers to ensure all web services are monitored and protected.
- Creation of change request plan (pertaining to F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers) and submit to customer senior engineer or supervisor for review and approval.
- Maintain, track and update physical and logical diagram changes to F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers.
- Work with appointed vendor and partner for all support and RMA parts replacement of F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers.
- Manage & Track all cabling/ patching records pertaining to F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers.
- Work and Liaise with appointed partners/vendor for necessary site survey and discussions pertaining to F5 DNS, internet and intranet load balancers.
- Preparing weekly ticket tracking list for outstanding & resolved tickets.
- Prepare and provide monthly equipment status (system events, severity alerts, violations, overall status, etc..) report to customer.
- Work with appointed vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure internal audit compliance.
- Liaise with internal stakeholder and appointed vendors, to ensure all log and alerts are captured.
- Raising Change Request (CH), Service Request (SR).
- Update CH to customer ITSM platform after each change.
- Update master equipment inventory list once new equipment is deployed or RMAed.

**Qualifications**
- Graduates in relevant fields of studies (IT, Infocomm, Com Science, Etc..) with 3 years of IT related working experience
