Responsible for company budgeting and preparation of periodic financial reports / statements and operational metrics for the business portfolio for management purposes.
- Responsible to manage planning, strategy, cost reduction and improve operational efficiency initiatives such as production waste, packing wastage management, monitor man-hours utilization and food production costs etc.
- Lead operations team and handling and resolving operational issues.
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate the price of groceries and packing materials.
- To analyse the local market prices and negotiate the prices with overseas (India) suppliers and direct producers for procuring rice, spices etc
- Understanding of seasonal products in overseas to procure during the seasonal time and reduce the cost price.
- Work together with operations team to ensure that the deployment of manpower effectively serves the key goals and needs.
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with customers.
- Monitor quality for food and check the standards and collaborate with Chefs, cooks to take corrective action where necessary.
- Monitor all the payments are received from customers and do follow-up if required.
- Analyse on an ongoing trend of market and upgrade according to the standards.
- Introduce new machineries or ideas to reduce the man hours and quality of food an package.
- Evaluate and review strategies on client satisfaction pertaining to operations.
- Continuously review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s policies, procedures, processes to identify improvement opportunities that are aligned with the defined BU's performance framework.
