To work with us to build these Mission Critical Systems, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager. (A Mission Critical System is a system that is essential to the survival of an entity or organization. When a Mission Critical System fails or is interrupted, business operations will be significantly impacted.)

The DevOps Manager will be responsible for building state-of-the-art products and capabilities, deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software and system engineering, we’d love to speak with you.

**Role**
- Building and setting up development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software developers and system engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

**Responsibilities**
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Set up Level 1 and Level 2 preventive and corrective maintenance
- Provide Level 3 technical support that requires specialized training, skills and/or equipment
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- PMP and/or CITPM Certification
- Experience as a DevOps Manager or similar engineering role
- Proficient with Git and Git workflows
- Good knowledge of Python, Java, C / C++, JavaScript, C#, SQL and other key programming languages
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with software engineering, system design, customer experience and civil, M&E (mechanical and electrical) engineering
