Ever day is an exciting one at Multiplier right now because we are figuring out a real problem in the market and building a first-of-its-kind product around it. We are looking for smart and talented people who will add on to our collective energy and share the same excitement in making Multiplier a big deal. We are headquartered in Singapore, but our team is remote.

We are in the lookout for engineering leaders who are passionate about technology and people. As a leader you will play a significant role in growing the engineering team and leading them on technology products that will spell the dominance of Multiplier in this space.

**What will I be doing?**
- Own and lead the DevOps and platform operations at Multiplier from inception. You will play a key role in working with your team of DevOps and DevSecOps engineers to come up with the best technology solutions that work well for our internal teams and platforms.
- Own quarterly and yearly OKR's for engineering operations and security to support the engineering and overall organisation OKRs and the growth at Multiplier.
- Work closely with our product engineering teams to ensure their success by fulfilling the platform and security needs in a timely and iterative fashion.
- Be the thought leader for DevOps, Security and Site Reliably within the engineering org by bringing in the knowledge and expertise of these areas along with the latest and the greatest what would help shape the future for Multiplier.
- Involve in the hiring process to identify and hire the best engineers around the world into your team and grow the DevOps function in a timely fashion.
- Help shape the DevOps team culture by working closely with your reports and helping them grow their career at Multiplier by giving frequent guidance and motivation.

**What do I need?**
- 10+ years of industry experience as a DevOps engineer and 5+ years as an DevOps leader managing a team at a high growth product company.
- You have deep knowledge and extensive experience in architecting and building various infrastructure in the common public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- You have experience in leading DevOps teams and building robust cloud environments that have proven to have high uptime and deliver speed in its services. You can demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the outcome of the overall organisation.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of common cloud infrastructure, infrastructure automation, cloud networking, cloud security, cloud storage, database systems, internet concepts, async/sync communication protocols and methods, monitoring/logging/tracing, scaling infrastructure, redundancy, disaster recovery etc.
- Very comfortable with a high-level programming language (Such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.)
- Champion of automating things and building a culture of automation.
- Understanding of distributed systems, containerisation, orchestration and scaling.
- Very good understanding and experience in agile approaches to building and delivering infra.
- Extremely data-driven in how you make decisions.
- Work with and solve problems of very complex nature and enjoy doing it
- Experience in overall hiring process of engineering operations talent and is able to take on challenging goals in this respect.
