**Responsibilities**
- Manages all the activities of the software development team
- Hire and train new DevOps engineers
- Lead and mentor team members to encourage work productivity.
- Lead the team of developers to deliver the software platform based on product roadmap and schedules
- Sets attainable goals to team members for the project to be completed on time
- Evaluate new tools and technology to improve product speed, efficiency, and scalability.
- Taking full ownership of the DevOps disciplines
- Working with the engineers in the team and maintaining a proper communication with them.
- To be in touch with cloud computing systems
- Analyse automation requirements, implement design plans and review unit tests
- Responsible for writing and reviewing product requirements and specifications
- Ensure that timeline is adhered to deliver projects timely
- Ensure appropriate procedures and processes are adhered to for software development
- Participate in workflow automation design and design control activities.
- Participate in other areas of the software development process.
- Operational Excellence - To monitor and operation of production services
- Creating and defining monitoring operational standards with configurations.
- Ensure proper documentation of automation.
- Monitor, evaluate and ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
- To plan, build and configure test solutions.
- Design and implement a proper DevOps development environment for the team
- Represent the DevOps team in project meetings
- Provide technical support to other company personnel related

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process automation
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role to lead and mentor a team of developers
- Extensive technical background and hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Proficient in the following technology: REST APIs, XML and JSON, responsive UI with JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS, Cloud Computing
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience in the data centre industry is an added advantage

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Work Location: In person
