The GFT APAC Cluster Head is senior management level role for an experienced and senior partner-facing country delivery manager for a cluster of APAC countries. This role would require an individual with strong experience in technology service delivery management, client relationship management, change management and for providing direction, leadership, and budgetary management, etc. for the cluster of countries.

This individual would be accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the main technology point of contact for GFT for the country senior management.
- Manage end-to end country engagement with regular country cadence with the senior stakeholders (Technology/ Risk/ Finance/ Compliance) for the responsible countries.
- Deliver regulatory and other country commitments on time, within the approved scope and cost.
- Collaborates with IT functional/departmental executives and business leaders to create the business plan for IT.
- Work with country stakeholders and other business’ technology teams for seamless project delivery for those countries.
- Assist and work with the GFT in-country teams for both internal and external audits.
- Liaise with internal cross-functional teams to understand current state project delivery timelines, determine country requirements, install future state as needed, and implement monitoring and control system for the country deliverables.
- Prepare and present regular country project status reviews to senior management and business leads.
- Work closely with the GFT APAC PMO, Architecture and app dev teams to proactively resolve country issues, provide recommendations, and timely escalations to senior management.
- Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department while ensuring transparency and consistency across teams.
- Lead and represent GFT APAC in in-country regulatory/ project forums and present updates as needed.
- Excellent communication skills are required to communicate, negotiate, and influence internally, often at senior levels. Impactful communication/messaging with senior country stakeholders, regulatory bodies and additional third parties may also be necessary.
- Experience in managing delivery teams, direct/ matrix reports in the region and remote.
- Ensures business unit is meeting or exceeding components of service level agreements. Resolves complex and varied issues with substantial potential impact.
- Uses in depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
- Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations; uses multiple sources of information.

**Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of experience in technology
- 8-10+ years of managerial experience
- Experience with financial products
- Experience managing across multi-function or across countries
- Experience managing in a large, complex, and matrixed organization
- Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function within relevant part of the business
- Proven ability to execute large complex change programs with experience of driving business strategies with senior management
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A solid understanding of technology processes and systems
- Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
