Draft, prepare, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to iron ore cargoes, ensuring all terms align with deal confirmations (e.g., specifications, price, and shipping terms).
- Collaborate with internal team to review and approve contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Coordinate contract execution with buyers and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery according to agreed terms.
- Maintain an up-to-date contract data register and provide regular reporting on contract status and performance.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal/external teams regarding key logistics, including laycan schedules, port of loading, discharge port laycan, and declarations of iron ore quantity/quality as per contractual agreements.
- Oversee all trade-related operations, including managing letters of credit and preparing export documentation.
- Act as the primary contact with port agents, managing and resolving any issues related to cargo discharge and port operations.
- Support the execution of other trade-related tasks as assigned by management to ensure smooth and efficient cargo handling and contract management processes.
