Iron Ore Price Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Iron Ore Price Analyst to join our team. As an Iron Ore Price Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing market intelligence on iron ore prices.

  • Gather daily price information for major seaborne iron ore prices.
  • Develop a strong contact base in the Singapore iron ore trading community and develop regular engagement with key contacts.
  • Garners market intelligence covering shifts in consumption patterns of iron ore, impacts of policy and macro-economic conditions, developments in the steel sector.

About You

To succeed as an Iron Ore Price Analyst, you will need:

  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
  • An undergraduate degree in Journalism, English, Finance or Business.
  • 2-4 years of experience in commodities, preferably with a background in iron ore or ferrous markets.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and commodity data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage market participants daily and build lasting industry relationships.
  • Curiosity about markets and news is essential.
